This is my brother. He's the kind of kid that likes to shine his shoes and wear bow ties and suspenders (occasionally we fight over who gets to wear them). He's in the process of growing out his crazy curly hair--he says it's an experiment to see if it'll turn into an afro--and is one of the smartest human beings I have the privilege of knowing. J and I have the same sense of humor and read each other's minds on such a regular basis that it's almost scary. This boy has some pretty sick dance moves too; at a wedding a few years ago, everyone formed a circle around him while he danced solo to Michael Jackson's "Bad". Yesterday, we went on a little shoot to photograph his Sunday attire...which he styled all by himself. Proud big sister moment over here.
